My Christian Fiction Novel
Inside the book: Jackie walked out of the emergency room ... She spied Sarah on the other side of the lobby and gently shook her head from side to side before entering the consultation room and closing the door behind her. The simple shake of the head told Sarah all she needed to know. Lizzie was gone. Having recently lost her husband to cancer, Sarah Thomas returns to her job as an oncology nurse. She is disappointed to learn that the nurse administrator has assigned her to a desk job, reviewing dozens of patient charts. She longs to return to patient care but her paperwork assignment soon gets her tangled in a mystery. One of the clinic doctors asks Sarah to covertly investigate the records of a few additional patients. These patients had all died unexpectedly and the recent death rate seems to be higher than normal. The mystery deepens when a medication syringe suddenly disappears from the patient treatment area. Are the unexpected deaths just a disappointing natural outcome? Are the deaths treatment related? Is the missing syringe a piece of the puzzle? Is something malicious going on? Sarah and her friends need to find the answers before any more patients are lost.
